For our Client – a leading outsourcing company, realizing projects for top international business clients – we are currently looking for a:

Collaborate with architects, subject matter experts, solution designers and engineers, both at Capgemini and on the client side.
Install, configure and upgrade database management systems (DBMS) such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle.
Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes and relationships to efficiently support the organisation's data storage and retrieval needs.
Work on optimising database performance i.e.: fine-tuning Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL or Oracle databases for efficiency, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing best practices to ensure optimal system responsiveness.

Commercial experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise preferably in Microsoft SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with database security, backup and recovery, and high-availability solutions.
Deep knowledge of the maintenance and administration aspects of database systems.
Proficiency in SQL scripting and database query optimization.
Knowledge of database architecture, design, and performance tuning techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent in English and French both spoken and written.
