- Perform changes and tasks according to standardized as well as non-standard operating procedures
- Handle incidents and major incidents according to agreed SLAs
- Work on production tools Infra component upgrades, support release updates and administrate of customer’s applications
As a Application Middleware Engineer you will be working with such technologies as WebSphere, WebLogic, Jboss, Apache, Tomcat, Nginx, IBM MQ, Kafka, Linux, Windows, Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl, AWS, GCP, Azure.
What we expect from you:
- Minimum B2 level of spoken French and English.
- Experience in administration of application and web servers (e.g. WebSphere, WebLogic, Jboss, Apache, Tomcat. Nginx)
- Familiarity with message-oriented technologies (preferably IBM MQ, Kafka) in administration and defining flows.
- Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Windows) especially in area of monitoring, troubleshooting performance and application related issues.
- Hands-on experience with containerization
- Plan, prepare and apply maintenance fixes and upgrades to middleware products.
- Strong understanding of scripting languages is required (Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl scripting tool)
- Experience in clustering technologies and knowledge of high availability strategies and monitoring tools.
- Overall knowledge of IT infrastructure both hosted on-premise and one of public clouds (practical experience on AWS, GCP or Azure) like: virtualization networking, storage, containerization, clustering load balancers
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model – 3 office / 2 home
