For our client who is a strategic partner to companies around the world, using technology to enable business transformation for over 50 years, we are looking for R2R Junior Managers with French/Italian/Portuguese or German language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for client-specific processes and applications.
- Manage and execute complex transactions, ensuring compliance with agreed processes and controls.
- Provide insights into the business context of analyzed data, making relevant recommendations to add value for the client.
- Drive process improvements through technology-related tools within the designated area of expertise.
- Oversee General Ledger accounting responsibilities for assigned country operations.
- Act as a guardian of the month-end close process, ensuring accurate and timely completion of country books.
- Communicate with tax advisors and corporate stakeholders to ensure GAAP changes are translated into business processes and operations.
- Analyze and identify account balances and movements that require explanation; coordinate with business processes to clarify and resolve discrepancies.
- Act as the primary point of contact during audits, addressing inquiries and providing necessary documentation.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance functions, including financial analysis, accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proven experience in overseeing financial activities at a country level.
- Fluency in English and either Portuguese, Italian, French, or German (C1 level).
- Management experience with the ability to lead and mentor a team.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, with the ability to ensure financial statements' accuracy and compliance.
- Experience in providing guidance and recommendations to General Ledger accountants.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to contribute to long-term financial planning.
